Development of brief. We were given the task to create 4 black and white pictograms to represent the 4 UK seasons. At first, I wanted to show the change in shoes that people wear in different seasons, but I soon realised that this was a highly subjective take on the matter. I knew I needed to create something universal, that everyone could relate to. Thus, I turned to the degree Celsius sign. This represents temperature, and by changing the look of the actual degree circle, I clearly show the changes in weather that temperature brings. Last image shows my final designs.
